FIRST Team Tators

"FIRST Team Tators (For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) inspires students to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in a mentor-based program in which students brainstorm, design and build a robot to compete against other robots in a specific challenge.  This challenge leads to year around development for a relatively short competition season. 

Program or Camp
Boise - Regional competitions are in Salt Lake City, UT and Cheny, WA. If Team Tators wins at one of the regionals, Worlds are in St. Louis, MO.
Target Audiences:
K-5th Grade, 6-8th Grade, 9-12th Grade, Community oriented or invited to participate

Length of Event:
team meets year-round; build and competition season 1/7/12 - 4/28/12
Cost to Attend:
Registration fees for each competition are $5,000 - $6,000. Travel costs for students vary depending upon location.
